How do I invite my co-parent?

After you create your family in the app, go to Settings and share your invite code with your co-parent. They enter it during their own onboarding and join the same shared family, no separate account setup on your end. You can also send it as an email invite from Settings if their email address is on file.

Can I use OnePage before my co-parent joins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. OnePage works in solo mode from the moment you sign up, you can add your children, set up the custody calendar, and log expenses on your own. Once your co-parent joins with your invite code, they see everything you've already entered.

Question 3

Do we both need to pay?

Accepted Answer

No. A single Plus subscription on either side unlocks Plus features (PDF export, AI tone check, expense splitting, and multiple children) for both parents in the shared family. The core calendar and messaging are free for both parents regardless.

Question 4

I signed up with email and password. Why do I need to verify my email?

Accepted Answer

We send a verification email to confirm the address is really yours, mainly so account recovery and invite emails land in the right inbox. You still get full access to the app while unverified. If you don't see the email, check spam, or resend it from the banner in Settings.

How do I set up our custody schedule?

In the Calendar tab, choose a schedule template (week on week off, 2-2-3, every other weekend, and others) or build a custom pattern. The calendar then projects that pattern forward automatically. You can add one-off overrides for holidays or schedule swaps without changing the underlying template.

Can I change the schedule after it's set up?

Yes. You can edit the template at any time, and every change is recorded in a change log both parents can see, so there's a shared record of who changed what and when instead of a silent edit.

Can messages be deleted or edited?

Accepted Answer

Confirmed messages are never hard-deleted and never edited in place. An edit creates a new version rather than overwriting the original, so there's always a reliable, tamper-evident record, which matters if a conversation ever needs to be referenced later.

What is the AI tone check?

Accepted Answer

It's an optional Plus feature: before you send a message, OnePage can suggest a calmer rewrite if the draft reads as likely to escalate conflict. You choose whether to send the original or the suggestion, nothing is rewritten or sent automatically.

Can I send photos or videos in a message?

Yes, the message composer supports photo and video attachments, and they're part of the same append-only message record as the text.

How does expense splitting work?

Log an expense with a category, amount, and receipt if you have one. Your co-parent gets notified and can approve or dispute it. Splitting a logged expense between both parents is a Plus feature; logging and tracking expenses is free.

Can we use a currency other than USD?

Yes. Settings has a currency picker (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, INR, JPY, MXN, NZD, CHF) that applies to the whole shared family, both parents see the same currency.

Can either parent delete our shared history?

Accepted Answer

No. Confirmed messages, expenses, and calendar changes are never hard-deleted or mutated in place by either parent, they're append-only. This is by design, not a setting, since a lot of families rely on that record staying intact.

What happens to our data if I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Account deletion is immediate. If you're the only one who ever used the family (your co-parent never joined), the whole family record and its data are deleted with you. If your co-parent is still active, your shared calendar, message, and expense history stays with them since it's jointly owned, and you're removed as a member.
